The Honor 9X is the latest addition in Honor home. It places itself – for price and performance – among mid-level Android devices. The design and the camera seem to be its strengths. During the presentation of this new smartphone George Zhao, President of Honor said: “At Honor we want to be at the forefront of technological innovation and smartphone design to offer our users the best user experience. The introduction of new technologies such as Artificial Intelligence (AI) and the Internet of Things (IoT) is transforming the way consumers live their lives. Honor 9X, with its extraordinary photographic capabilities, elegant design and unparalleled software performance, has been designed from the ground up for our young and dynamic audience“. It is fair to mention that Honor, which is owned by Huawei, has to deal with the commercial ban imposed by Trump last May. And it seems that the arrival on the market of this Honor 9X with on board Android is possible only because the license was obtained from Google prior to the decision of the White House.

Also with regard to the rear cameras, it is included a 120 ° Super Wide Angle Camera, which should help users capture more detailed images. The front selfie camera, instead, is a 16 MP pop-up camera, which opens from the upper body when in action, and disappears when it is not active.
