Vivo recently released its new flagship, the Vivo X80 Pro, a smartphone that can boast a photographic system developed in collaboration with Zeiss.
At the front the Vivo X80 Pro mounts a camera with a 32MP sensor, while at the rear there is a quad-cam system consisting of the main camera with an opening f / 1.57 and 50MP ultra-sensing sensor, customized by GNV specifically for this Vivo smartphone, which will offer optical stabilization, a 48MP wide-angle lens camera, a 12MP 2x zoom lens camera dedicated to portraits and a periscope camera with sensor from 8MP. The 360° Horizon Levelling Stabilization keeps your shooting angle steady in any circumstances. The time-lapse feature will let you capture any instant in high definition.
The photographic experience on the new Vivo X80 Pro is supported by the new V1+ imaging chip, developed by the manufacturer itself, which integrates an artificial intelligence system. Among the features developed in collaboration with ZEISS, there is the ZEISS Superb Night Camera, dedicated to night shots, and the ZEISS Cinematic mode, which offers features such as the ZEISS Cinematic Video Bokeh to obtain an oval blur, similar to that offered by cinema lenses, recreating the unique bokeh shapes given by typical anamorphic lens.
The collaboration with ZEISS does not stop only at the software part, in fact, all the lenses of the Vivo X80 Pro cameras have been subjected to the Zeiss T* anti-reflective coating, which reduces the effects of flare and ghosting due to reflections and improves the transmission of the light.
As for the other specifications, the X80 Pro comes with a 6.78 WQHD + (3200 × 1440) AMOLED E5 display, which offers support for HDR10+ with the DCI-P3 color space and a maximum refresh rate of 120Hz. Thanks to this, pictures look more dynamic, and with more depth, the whitest and brightest colors look brighter, while the blackest areas become more pronounced. On the internal side instead, there is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen1 SoC, accompanied by 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 256GB of UFS3.1 memory. The 4700mAh battery supports fast charging for 80W. In addition, the X80 Pro also offers a marvelous double stereo speaker.
The X80 Pro uses a new 3D ultrasonic fingerprint reader with a recognition area 11 times larger than traditional ones. According to the manufacturer, this will give one of the fastest screen-unlock speeds in the industry. Gaming enthusiasts will love the new X-axis Linear Motor which offers a system of silent but powerful vibrations that will give the user a more comfortable gaming experience.
